You will see first hand Starmark Animal Behavior Center’s Certified Professional Training and Behavior Specialists working with clients, conducting group classes, and training in-kennel dogs daily. Starmark is more than just a school- it is the pinnacle of the dog world. Students receive a 10% discount on all products in the shop. Among the products you will find in the shop are Starmark Pet Products, created by professional trainers here at Starmark Animal Behavior Center.

Our on-site Pro Shop carries a limited inventory of dog care, training, and recreational products to make life easier for our clients and students. A grooming facility is also available to accommodate students’ dogs. If circumstances call for it, a “Day Run” may also be provided for students’ personal dog(s). Student Kennels are provided for boarding all of the rescue dogs from local organizations who are being trained by students during the program.
Our boarding kennels boast 200 indoor/outdoor climate controlled kennels with solid partitions between kennels to allow for maximum privacy and minimum stress for the dogs. Along the outside of the field there are bleachers for spectators. The outdoor sports field is a specially leveled, fully fenced training area. Each student will also have an assigned locker to store training equipment or other personal items. This room is used to hold dogs for short periods of time during class training periods, to allow for the maximum convenience and the best possible time management for students. Inside are student-assigned crates and lockers. Inside the training building you will find a private air conditioned room that is student-access only. Students will have a key and 24 hour access to the training building. In the training building you will find convenient restrooms, a fridge for dog treats and training purposes, a desk area with WiFi access, bleachers for seating during demonstrations, and a white board.

For training, there are 2 full sets of agility equipment, and all necessary equipment for Scent Detection and Search and Rescue, as well as many other props and supplies. In addition to central heating and AC, the building is fully lighted with fans throughout. Most of the hands-on training is done in our 9,600 square foot indoor climate controlled training building. Students will have a key and 24 hour access to the classroom. Just outside the classroom is a vending machine, comfortable bathrooms, and our Pro Shop. WiFi access is available inside the classroom, where you will also find a public student computer and printer, shared student refrigerator and modest kitchen for quick lunch breaks, overhead screen, and whiteboard. Approximately 25% of the course time is spent in the classroom for lectures, discussions, videos, and other presentations. Our climate controlled classroom seats up to 30 students.
This is our most economical on-site housing option. RV Parking is available for $275 per month. Parking is located within a short walking distance from the classroom, training building, and kennels. Starmark Academy has RV parking with electrical hookup and a bathhouse nearby.
